What makes a file run clean on the first hoop.

A file can look fine on screen and still pucker, fill in small lettering or snap thread halfway through a run of polos. Ours are digitized by a person, not a plugin, and a second digitizer checks every file before it reaches you. Why we never auto-digitize. Drag the slider on each design to compare the original artwork with the finished file.

Most embroidery problems are file problems, not machine problems. A poorly digitized file looks fine on screen and then shows up on the production floor as thread breaks, puckered fabric and garments you have to replace.

Every PlixaLabs file is planned by a person for your fabric, size and machine. If a file doesn't run the way it should, reply to the delivery email and we revise it free, with no time limit.

01
Stitch density for your fabric
Too dense and fabric puckers; too light and the design looks thin. Density is set for the fabric weight and weave.
02
Underlay that holds the design up
The right underlay stops designs sinking into fleece, piqué and terry.
03
Push-pull compensation
Fabric moves while it is stitched, so shapes are adjusted to finish at the right size.
04
Efficient stitch sequencing
Fewer jumps and color changes, and later stitches don't distort earlier ones.
05
Tie-ins and tie-offs
Locking stitches stop thread unraveling in production and in the wash.

A digitizer decides stitch types, direction, density, underlay and sewing order for your fabric, then exports the file in your machine's format.
