A stitch file can look perfect on screen and still pucker a polo, snap thread on a cap or lose the lettering on a school jumper. Those faults are built in when the file is made, which is why a cheap auto-converted file often costs more in spoilt garments than it saved.

Our digitisers build each file around the garment you name, the finished size and the machine you run. If a sew-out isn't right, reply to the delivery email with a photo and we adjust the file at no charge, however long ago you ordered.

01
Density matched to the garment
A heavyweight sweatshirt and a lightweight sports top need different stitch spacing, so we set it for the fabric you tell us about.
02
Underlay chosen for the fabric
Foundation stitches keep satin borders and fills sitting on top of fleece, knitwear and piqué polos rather than sinking in.
03
Pull compensation built in
Stitches draw fabric inwards, so columns are widened slightly and circles stay round once sewn.
04
A sensible sewing order
Colours run in a logical sequence with fewer trims and jumps, which saves machine time on long runs.
05
Secure lock stitches
Every colour starts and finishes with tie stitches, so nothing unpicks on the machine or in the laundry.
03 How to Order

From artwork to machine file.

01
Send us the artwork
A JPG, PNG, PDF, AI, EPS or SVG is fine. Add the garment, the finished size in millimetres and your machine, for example Tajima or Brother.
02
Agree the price
We reply with the fixed price before any work starts. Once you say yes, one of our employed digitisers builds the file by hand.
03
Receive the file
Standard turnaround is 4–8 hours, with a stitch simulation preview. Need it sooner? Rush takes 2–4 hours and super rush 1–2 hours, both +50%.
04
Ask for changes
Reply to the delivery email with what needs changing. Edits are free, as many as you need, with no cut-off date.

Working to UK hours? The team digitises 24/7, weekends and bank holidays included. A design sent at 5pm on standard turnaround is due back by 1am, ready before the morning shift starts.

Fixed prices per design start at £10, however many stitches the design has. Caps, 3D puff, jacket backs, patches, appliqué, Coloreel and vector artwork each have their own flat price, and rush or super rush adds 50%. See the UK price list.
By a person. A digitiser employed by our group plans each file by hand, and no auto-digitising tool is used at any stage. Work is never passed to freelancers or marketplace sellers.
We convert artwork into a stitch file your embroidery machine can sew (in the US this is spelt digitizing). That means choosing stitch types, angles, density, underlay and the order colours sew in for your fabric, then saving the design in your machine's format. Our guide explains what embroidery digitising is in more depth.
Yes. Each new registered business can have one Simple or Medium design digitised, or converted to vector artwork, free of charge at standard turnaround, requested from a business email address on your company domain. Read the free design terms.
