About PlixaLabs UK: the 100+ strong team digitising your files

PlixaLabs UK is Zorixo Ventures Ltd, and every stitch file we sell is hand-built by a 100+ strong team of digitisers, quality checkers and team leads in Bengaluru, India. They're all employees, digitising since 2015 and working in shifts round the clock for UK embroiderers, workwear and schoolwear suppliers. No file leaves without a second person checking it.

01Our Story

Behind every good badge is someone who owns the file.

Snapped threads Puckered jumpers Unreadable lettering Re-runs and late orders
Our promise to UK customers
  • Built by one digitiser, checked by another
  • A stitch simulation preview before you sew
  • Revisions that never run out
  • Standard turnaround of 4–8 hours, every day of the year

Ask any UK embroiderer about a bad file and you'll hear the same list. A school crest that puckers the jumper. A thread that snaps halfway through a run of polos. Lettering that closes up on a hi-vis vest. Then comes the re-run, the wasted garments and the awkward phone call about a delivery date.

Often the file came from a profile with no surname, no address and nobody to ring when it goes wrong.

So we built PlixaLabs the other way round: real people you can hold to account.

Our digitisers began in 2015 with an approach that hasn't changed since. Build each file by hand, set it up for the garment it will be stitched on, and keep at it until it runs cleanly.

Doing that properly for more customers meant more people. The team is now 100+ strong, all employed in Bengaluru, working in shifts so the office never closes and finishing roughly 40,000 designs a month.

In 2024 we formed Zorixo Ventures Ltd here in the UK, alongside sister companies in the US and India. UK buyers deal with a UK company, pay in pounds and receive a VAT invoice.

What you get today is straightforward. One person builds your file, a second checks it, you see the preview first, and revisions carry on until the stitch-out is right.

03Through the Team

Who handles your artwork, and in what order.

Your crest or logo goes through the same hands every time, and the second check is never skipped.

Digitiser

Builds the file

Your artwork is turned into stitches by hand: fill direction, underlay, density and running order, set for the fabric you have told us about.

Second pair of eyes

Checks it over

A different person reviews the file before delivery. Anything that needs fixing goes back to the digitiser first.

You

Preview before you stitch

The files arrive with a stitch simulation preview, so the design can be checked on screen before a garment goes on the frame.

Both of us

Changes, as many as needed

Just reply to the delivery email. Revisions are free, unlimited and have no cut-off date.

Test-sewn when it counts

Complex designs, and first orders from new customers, are sometimes stitched out as a test before they're sent, so the result is seen on fabric as well as on screen.

04Life on the Team

Focused on the file. Good fun off the clock.

Keeping an office open day and night takes a team that looks after each other. Here is a glimpse of what that looks like.

Round-the-clock shifts

Somebody is always on

Shifts hand over through the day and night, so a badge uploaded at teatime on a Friday is picked up that evening, not on Monday morning.

It is why the standard 4–8 hours turnaround holds at weekends too.

Mentoring

Experience on tap

The team averages 9 years of digitising, and our most experienced digitiser has 26. Newer digitisers learn right alongside them.

Days out

Trips away together

Recreational team trips take everyone away from the screens for a proper change of scene.

Birthdays

Birthdays off, paid

Nobody digitises a school crest on their birthday. The day is theirs, on full pay.

Keeping fit

Gym membership included

A day of fine detail on screen is easier to balance with a gym membership that the company pays for.

Specialist crews

Specialists for the fiddly work

Caps, 3D puff, tiny lettering and Coloreel each have their own quirks. Those jobs go to digitisers who have been signed off on that technique, so a club cap or a Coloreel gradient logo is in experienced hands.

05Training

Learning the craft, one sign-off at a time.

Our training programme is paid and practical. New digitisers build up from simple work, and the specialist jobs only come once they have earned the sign-off for them.

Caps 3D puff Small lettering Coloreel

Four specialist techniques, four separate sign-offs.

  1. Start simple, with a mentor

Newcomers begin on uncomplicated logos and text, working with a senior digitiser as their mentor.

  2. A second check on everything

Whatever a new digitiser produces is looked over by a second person before delivery, just like every other file we send.

  3. Fabric by fabric, placement by placement

Knitted jumpers, polos, fleeces and bags all behave differently, so trainees learn them gradually rather than all at once.

  4. Sign-off for specialist work

Before taking on caps, 3D puff, small lettering or Coloreel, a digitiser has to be signed off on that technique.

  5. Carry on learning

Training stays paid throughout a career here and supports moves such as digitiser to senior digitiser, quality checker and team lead.
