The school year

Spirit wear runs on deadlines

School and chapter orders arrive in waves: back-to-school, homecoming, spirit week, bid day and graduation. Each wave mixes embroidered mascots, appliqué letters and numbers, often for the same event date.

We build each piece for its garment. Mascots are digitized so the character still reads at chest size, and Greek and varsity letters are three-stage appliqué files with cutting templates, so a whole chapter's hoodies match.

Greek letters that match across a chapter

Greek letters are almost always tackle twill appliqué: a placement line, a tack-down and a satin cover stitch, with a PDF cutting template at exact size. Each letter in a set is built to the same height and stroke width, so every member's hoodie lines up.

Send the letters, finished height and fabric colors, and tell us whether you run single or double-layer letters. Stitched-letter versions for smaller placements such as caps are built as embroidery instead.

Mascots & licensing

Mascots welcome, marks you have permission for

  • Animals and characters: digitized with detail simplified only where it won't read at the garment size
  • School crests: fine linework rebuilt for chest or cap size
  • Class-year and event designs: dates and slogans checked for legibility
  • Licensed marks: collegiate and Greek marks are usually licensed; the decorator or chapter is responsible for permission to use them, and we digitize the artwork you supply
