Free Embroidery Digitising: Your First Design Is On Us

If your registered business has never ordered from PlixaLabs, we will digitise one Simple or Medium design for nothing. Choose embroidery digitising or a vector conversion; either way the file comes back at standard turnaround (4–8 hours) in the format your machine or embroiderer needs, with a stitch simulation preview. Sew it on your own garments. Designs after that start at £10.

Limits, stated up front: one design per new registered business, Simple or Medium only, standard turnaround (4–8 hours), embroidery digitising or vector conversion, business email required (no Gmail, Outlook, Hotmail or Yahoo). Read the terms.

  • Zorixo Ventures Ltd, VAT registered
  • Any machine format
  • Stitch preview included
  • Digitising since 2015

Who claims it

Made for UK businesses that stitch or sell embroidery.

Free embroidery digitising (often searched as embroidery digitizing) proves most when the file runs on real garments. Here is a sensible first design for each kind of business.

Embroidery shops
Send a customer logo that has caused trouble before, such as small lettering on a polo. Running it on your own machine shows how our files behave.
Embroidery digitising →
Workwear and uniform suppliers
Pick a client logo you put on polos and softshells, and stitch it on the fabric you use most often.
Workwear digitising →
Schoolwear and club kit suppliers
A club badge or a simpler school logo fits the Medium tier. Detailed blazer crests count as Complex and sit outside the offer.
Schoolwear digitising →
Promotional merchandise companies
Try a client logo headed for caps, bags or polos, or use the offer to turn a poor JPG into a clean vector file.

EligibleRegistered businesses only, placing their first order with PlixaLabs.
How to request itFrom a business email address on your company's own domain. We can't accept Gmail, Outlook, Hotmail, Yahoo, iCloud, AOL or other free email addresses for the free design, because a company email address is how we confirm the request comes from a real business. Paid orders can come from any email address.

AfterwardsNo obligation. Any further designs follow the UK price list.

Get a fair test

Judge the file the way you judge any supplier.

  • Stitch it on the garment you actually sell. A polo, a softshell and a knitted jumper each need different density and underlay.
  • Give us the finished size. A left chest logo 90 mm wide is planned differently from the same artwork on a jacket back.
  • Say which machine will run it. Yours, or your contract embroiderer's: we send the matching format, or several.
  • Use your normal stabiliser. Then the sew-out reflects an ordinary production run.
  • Ask for changes if anything looks off. Revisions have no limit, on the free design too.

Claim it

Claiming it takes three steps.

  1. Open the quote form. Upload a JPG, PNG, PDF, AI, EPS or SVG, or a clear photo of the embroidered garment.
  2. Add the job details. Business name, a business email address on your company domain, garment, position, finished width or height, and the machine or format. Put "free first design" in the notes.
  3. Receive the file. At standard turnaround (4–8 hours), with the stitch simulation preview alongside.

Next orders

How your next designs are priced.

Priced per design in pounds, never by stitch count. Rush or super rush adds 50%.

Every design after the free one has one flat price set by its type and complexity, with machine files in any format, a stitch simulation preview and unlimited revisions included. See the UK price list for each design type.

Ink/Stitch
Ink/Stitch is a free, open-source embroidery add-on for the Inkscape drawing app, on Windows, macOS and Linux. It suits people who want to learn digitising themselves and have evenings to spend practising.
Turning an image into a stitch file →
Automatic converters
Upload a picture and software places the stitches. Previews are often free, while downloads may need credits or a subscription. Bold shapes can work; small text and fine detail usually need fixing by hand.

Questions

Free design questions from UK buyers.

Yes. If your registered business is new to PlixaLabs, one Simple or Medium design is digitised at no cost, as embroidery digitising or a vector conversion, and delivered at standard turnaround (4–8 hours). The request has to come from a business email address on your company's own domain, not a free email service. Those are the only conditions, and nothing commits you to a second order.
No. The free design has to be requested from a business email address on your company's own domain. We can't accept Gmail, Outlook, Hotmail, Yahoo, iCloud, AOL or other free email addresses for it, because a company email address is how we confirm the request comes from a real business. You can still order paid designs from any email address.
Roughly, Simple means names, initials or a clean logo in 1 to 3 colours, and Medium means a logo with filled areas or several elements in 4 to 8 colours. Heraldic crests and designs with 8+ colours are Complex, paid at the normal price, and fall outside the offer. If you are unsure, send the artwork and we confirm the tier before starting.
No, because nothing is charged. Once you place paid orders, each B2B order comes with a VAT invoice from Zorixo Ventures Ltd (VAT No. GB 506 4612 12).
Yes. If you need a clean AI, EPS or SVG rather than a machine file, the offer covers a vector conversion in place of embroidery digitising. It is still one design per new registered business.
Tell us both. The free design can come in more than one machine format, for example Tajima DST for a contract embroiderer and Brother PES for a machine in your own unit.
Yes. Our terms say PlixaLabs keeps no intellectual property rights in stitch files made from your artwork, and that applies to the free design as much as to a paid order.
No. The offer runs at standard turnaround (4–8 hours). Rush and super rush are available on paid orders at +50%.
Yes, as many as you need and with no deadline, exactly as on a paid order.
No. A member of the PlixaLabs digitising team plans it by hand. Every digitiser is an employee of our group company in Bengaluru, India.
Yes. Use the free design to test a file on your own machines, then look at UK trade accounts for white-label delivery, Net-30 once approved and volume pricing agreed per account.
