02 Why Hand-Tracing Matters

Auto-trace vs hand-traced.

Automated image-to-vector tools guess at paths and colour boundaries. On clean, simple source images the result can look fine, but on scans, photos, or compressed images they produce jagged edges, merged colours, and extra anchor points that cause problems later.

Every image we convert is traced by hand by a human expert who separates colours correctly, smooths paths intentionally, and checks the result against your original before delivery.

The lower the quality of your source image, the more this matters, auto-trace software has no judgement to fall back on when the image is unclear.
